Delosperma aberdeenense is a perennial succulent plant with a compact, prostrate growth that reaches 30 cm (11.81") in height. The semi-cylindrical, slightly glossy green leaves are 2 cm (0.78") long. The showy, violet-pink flowers resemble daisies. It blooms in spring and summer.

Aberdeen dew plant is used on dry, sunny slopes, in rockeries, to cover dry areas of the garden, and in pots for patios, balconies, and terraces. It is an ideal plant for Mediterranean gardens.

Delosperma aberdeenense requires full sun exposure and a warm, dry climate. It resists occasional frosts down to -5 °C (23 ºF).

Aberdeen Sheepfig grows in any type of well-drained soil. Repot every 2-3 years to renew the substrate.

Fertilize once in early spring with fertilizer for succulent plants and cacti.

Pruning faded flowers is not strictly necessary.

Delosperma aberdeenense does not usually present serious pest and disease problems, but it is sensitive to excess moisture, especially at the roots.

Aberdeen dew plant is propagated from seeds sown in spring or fall and by cuttings in summer or mid-spring.
