Common names: Mexican Daisy Bush, Tree Daisy, Pom Pom Tree, Tree Chrysanthemum. This species is native to Mexico and Central America.

Montanoa bipinnatifida is an evergreen shrub that branches from the base and has an erect habit that reaches 5 meters (16.4 feet) in height. The large opposite leaves are deep green, measure up to 75 cm (2.46 feet) in length and are divided into 8-10 lobes. Montanoa bipinnatifida grows in full sun and semi-shade exposures and in warm climates. It resists frosts up to -6 ºC (20 ºF).

The soil can be normal garden soil with a little organic matter.

Water regularly so that the substrate does not dry out completely. Tree Daisy does not resist prolonged drought.

Fertilize with compost in autumn.

Prune intensively after flowering to control its growth and strengthen the plant.

Montanoa bipinnatifida does not usually present serious problems with pests and diseases.

Mexican Daisy Bush is propagated by cuttings using pruned branches.
